Each year during the Convention the MFMR sponsors a Model and Photo Contest designed to showcase the talent of local modellers and to foster personal growth as a model maker.

If an individual places 1st in a category that has 3 or more entries they advance to the Craftsman Class for that category. The next time they enter in that category they must do so in the Craftsman Class. Click the link below to see the list of individuals that have advanced to the Craftsman Class in particular categories.
