The current situation has left many of us feeling left out with no train shows this year, unless you went to Springfield, and no Convention so we hosted our very first LIVE! event on Sunday May 3rd. Consider this the beginning of our "New World" virtual train shows.
The event was live streamed to Facebook and was open to a small test group on Zoom. After a bit of a rocky start with the Facebook portion we were off to the races! Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
We are going to do this again with both Facebook and Zoom. The Zoom audience will be opened up to members and invited guests in the future. We are also planning MFMR Member Only LIVE! events in the future as a way of showing value in membership.
